Host Claire Bestland takes us up north to Gracefield. We visit the Resto Smoke'n'Grill "Burger Pub" to chat with co-owner Tina Trinh. A regular performer at the pub is singer-songwriter Dulce Robles from Kazabazua who premieres 3 new compositions. She is accompanied by Sylvio Modolo on piano and Breno Daibes on drums. Rounding off the episode is visual artist and fashion designer Nathalie Coutou who shows us around her indigenous art boutique “Khewa” in Wakefield.

Outaouais Live! is a 12-part, English-language, arts magazine format series to be filmed at various locations throughout the Outaouais. It will showcase musicians, artists of various practice, galleries, and cultural and performance spaces, all with a somewhat uptown vibe. An episode highlights one musical act, which will open and close the show – in between, the viewer is introduced to visual or other artists, in their home studios, a gallery, or another cultural space.
Originally from The Pas, Manitoba and now residing in Wakefield, QC, Claire is a guitar slinger, singer/songwriter and composer. She’s just finished her second full length album of original songwriting being produced and engineered by Aaron Goldstein at Baldwin St Sound Studios in Toronto to be released later this year. During the last three years in addition to performing she has been a live sound engineer as well as composing, engineering, and producing a studio musical comedy recording with comedian Jen Grant.
