Show recap and contacts
Yoga for Fibromyalgia
Jessica Roy is a yoga teacher who gives weekly classes at the Association de la fibromyalgie de Laval. She has effectively beaten her own fibromyalgia with yoga and now teaches others to be aware of their bodies and manage or reduce or re-think the pain associated with the disease.
Terra Perma Urban Sugar Shack Pop-Up
Terra Perma is a multidisciplinary sustainable development community that encourages biological diversity. It’s a nature reserve that sells plots of land with people living on the farm, but it also has eco-lodgings (like a yurt and earthship - see below) and many workshops. They grow a lot of vegetables, harvest maple sap from trees and teach people about permaculture.
The Urban Sugar Shack is the brainchild of people already involved in Terra Perma who wanted to have a pop-up in montreal. A lot of the profits go to TP foundation but the workers are also paid.
